We are dedicated to the art of breeding Straight Egyptian Arabian horses, and have done so for over 25 years. As the great artist Picasso knew, to produce a masterpiece, you must start somewhere, and we started with the magnificent broodmare, GA Desert Wine, a beautiful daughter of Imperial Imperor. She is the cornerstone from which our program has been built.

Counts Arabians is nestled in the foothills of the Sierras one

hour east of Sacramento, California, a central location for

visitors coming from any part of California. Our goal is to

breed beautiful, athletic Straight Egyptian horses worthy of

their desert heritage. Because we have a small broodmare

band, each foal we produce MUST be one of which we can be proud.

We are very excited about our 2015 foals -- a gorgeous filly sired by *Lebinon Al Shaqab, the last son of Alidaar and out of our *Simeon Shai daughter, My Shai Princess, and a stunning colt sired by Dennis Fournier and Anne Wright’s superstar stallion Kamal Ibn Adeed who is currently on lease to Arabians Ltd.  This colt is out of the beautiful mare, Hal’s Moon Goddess, who unfortunately and tragically hemorraghed after foaling and did not survive.  The colt is co-owned with Patricia DeLano of Aralia Arabians.  Please check out the FOALS page to see the latest pictures of these two up-and-comers.

Our “start” -- the beloved GA Desert Wine (Imperial Imperor x Hashim) foundation broodmare at Counts Arabians, with her last foal.
